Zwickelmania 2012 – Oregon Brewery Tours
This coming President’s Day weekend brewpubs and breweries all around Oregon and the Portland area will be offering tours to the public. You can get full information at the Oregon Brewer’s Guild Zwickelmania page. I will be in Central Oregon with my family, so I hope to hit several of the great brewpubs.

Stickmen Brewery & Skewery (Coming April-May)
Two of my former co-workers have made the leap and are working on starting a new brewpub in Lake Oswego. The guys putting together the Stickmen Brewery & Skewery are working to be open in April or May. The space they are opening is the former Oswego Lake House which closed in October. It should be a great space and has an excellent patio right on the lake. I look forward to seeing the setup and trying some of the new beers.

We were able to get a preview of the Golden Valley Brewpub before the Grand Opening. The Soft Opening seemed to be a big hit! The place was PACKED even before the official opening. We’ll be putting together our write up shortly.
