Our Review Breakdown:
We have been to New Old Lompoc a couple of times before and liked it OK, but this time, not so much. The beer was so-so and slightly on the warm side. The Sounder Slayer Lager tasted slightly like cigarette smoke (or a dirty tap). The atmosphere is fine, bar stools are uncomfortable, and someone should tell them these are NOT good happy hour deals:
Buffalo Wings $6.50
Calamari $6.75
Hummus Plate $6.00
Nachos $7.00
Chicken Tenders & Fries $5.75
The Little Things:
- Decent full bar options for the non beer drinkers
- Hooks for the purse under the bar a plus
- Single bathroom (w/a line)
Overall – we probably won’t make it back here anytime soon.
